    That hits hard, I lost my mama 4 or five years ago and I’m in my late 30’s with no fucking clue what’s going on.

      My spouse lost their Mon around that age 25 years ago (dead by 40’s), I just lost mine (still too young, early 70’s).

      It doesn’t really get easier, but maybe I’m better equipped to handle it. Unfortunately I think I may have a bit too good of an idea about what is going on, just not what to do about it.

      Meanwhile, my friend has a 99yo mom and will still be devastated at the impending loss.
