    Dude, I’m 44 and the 24 year old guy beside me seems like a child to me. He knows nothing of my cultural references of the halcyon days.

    The wee bastard had never heard of the Lost Boys, Nine Inch Nails, Father Ted, Twin Peaks, Boris Yeltsin, Thundercats, The Waco Massacre, to name a few recent ones.

      I’m 35 and just starting to see everyone under 25 as kids. Some look older so you’re not sure but as soon as you talk to them it’s like we’re from different planets.

        Same, I think tv doesn’t help. I can’t express my horror the last time I was at the dmv and saw them giving licenses to literal children.

      I’m 51, I have several 30-something coworkers, one in particular gets all my cultural references, one in particular gets none of them. It’s fun to get them together…
