Back at the end of October last year, my broke ass could finally afford to build my first PC in ten years. After replacing my old i7-6700k machine, I popped in a 4TB Samsung nvme SSD in the new rig and it clicked along fine until a couple of months ago.
One day I catch a BSOD and my 25+ years of troubleshooting skills were getting nowhere. I finally noticed that the BIOS was no longer seeing the Samsung SSD so, being the impatient little turd that I am, I bought the equivalent 4 GB Western Digital drive from Best Buy and started a warranty claim on the Samsung unit with plans to throw it up on eBay.
I paid $300 for that sucker at the tail end of October 2025. MSRP is now $900.

Surely that drive is still in warranty?
I need a couple SD cards. I use to buy a super cheap pack of 2x128GB for 23$CAD. Its over 60$ now. I’m not buying them at that price.
