I was raised Catholic, actually. Went to bible camp every summer, sang in the choir. The book is fantasy fiction and the preacher’s livelihood depends on convincing people that all good things come from god and all bad things come from humanity.

      Please read the Bible further.

May I have some of the verses you read that made you think that?

and no it does not, not at all

Most religious orders (the way that most people become priests or brothers) do not have you earn your own money, you live in formation houses or active communities with priests and brothers

translations depend on literalness and the way its said

          for example

          the difference between

“I ate a bunch of fruit today”

          and

“A bunch of fruit was consumed by me today”

Yeah but then you say a bunch of racist authoritarian shit and try to shrug it off as sarcasm when the crowd turns against you. You’re not allowed to decide you were joking after the fact.

I said if you stand against marking things with /s then you’re promoting the ability say horrible shit without consequences. No matter how outlandish, how stupid, how absurd you think a statement is: that is somebody’s real opinion.
