Can I get a brief rundown of the meme? This has all gone over my head and a quick google search isn’t really giving me a good explanation.

It should really have been titled “Gain” rather than “Found”, but whatever.
The meme is called Loss. There was a webcomic of… Questionable quality that was generally supposed to be humorous. At a certain point the author’s wife had a miscarriage and he made a webcomic that portrays him entering the hospital, speaking to a receptionist, speaking to a doctor then walking in to find his wife in the bed in the last panel. It has been memed since then, and abstracted to various shapes ( | || || |_ ) following the general visual lines present in the original comic
