Knowing a couple different polycules but not being in that community myself, I now think of these things much differently and sometimes completely miss the point they are trying to make and just think it’s a happy thought they are sharing instead of trying justv celebrating shitty behavior.
And let me tell you how many wonderfully bewildered looks I get when it’s a person who is saying it in front of me and my reaction is completely different then they are expecting
Processing it through another filter, they see the idea more as an enjoyable consenting event rather than something done behind the back of an unaware partner.
They’re saying they interpret the post as a consensual act between three people instead of a joke about cheating. They’re saying they see comments about things like this and often interpret it like that and others are shocked because they think it’s a positive reaction to cheating.
