Sorry, didn’t mean to sound condescending.

But yes I definitely have. That’s the cool thing about things, everyone can have their preferences and that’s alright.

It’s all good. People react differently too. I generally enjoyed mushrooms more, but I always found the hallucinations more tethered to reality-- nature mostly. Like seeing all the patterns and fractals in the trees or waves. Feeling the breathing of the earth. I’ve had trips on acid where I felt physically and emotionally “normal” but I had 100% visual hallucinations. Like the entire setting around me transforming into something else entirely. And not in a way that I could “shift back” away from.

That’s interesting, and I get what you mean, although I’ve definitely had similar experiences on shrooms where I was “locked” out of reality.

One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that being sound of mind is extremely important when it comes to doing hallucinogenic substances. As someone who is generally very low in anxiety, this normally is not an issue for me, but my few bad experiences have all occurred during times of emotional instability.

Yeah I’m naturally quite anxious. In my younger days, I would find relief in weed and psychedelics. At some point they began to amplify it :(
