I think the difference here is that we aren’t fooled by right wing politicians who blame prices on their left wing counterparts. Trump made petrol prices and inflation a key policy issue that he alone could fix. And now its worse. Although the fact that he could be brought down by petrol prices and not him being a demented war-mongering kiddy fiddler is deeply saddening.
