This is a big part of why I still play. At a certain point, the blocks and pixels fall away and you find yourself gazing down into a lush valley with all the awe and reverence of someone seeing it for real.

As someone who while likely never escape the flat hell I was born into, that’s enough to keep my flame aglow.
