I’m oddly unsettled by Jesus’ gloves. Is he self-conscious about the holes, or is there a reason why he doesn’t want to leave fingerprints?

The punchline would land a big better if the score for Jesus was on the left and Medusa on the right. The picture is the situation and reading right to left means the twist is the last thing we read.
