    Scully eventually ended up being genuinely wrong most of the time. The show didn’t want to drop her “scientific straightman” role as Mulder’s foil, but damn the evidence became stacked for the paranormal

      That’s one reason why I’m not a fan of the show, it was in a long list of a lot of 90’s media that portrayed skeptics as “naive” and “unwilling to accept evidence”, and believers as always right, when in reality it’s the other way around.
