As a person with food texture issues AND a fan of tomatoes in all forms: A lot of tomatoes are selectively grown for weight to maximize profits, but as a result, they’re a loose blob of grainy and flavorless bullshit. This is especially true for chain fast food places where they’re trying to spend as little as possible on ingredients.
