Today’s game is Halo 2. Big surprise, i know. I’m addicted to this game. Me and My Friend went through Regret to try and get Par Time. We did it again, and again, and again, and again. Until finally we got it.
Honestly the Par Time for this level in specific felt tedious to get. We basically had to play perfectly. Which means we had to take shortcuts and nail all our grenade jumps.
Our first attempt we were over by 15 seconds. Us killing eachother probably didn’t help either. Like my friend shoved me onto the lift to get it. It was funny though and we had a blast, so it’s not too big of a deal.
Our second run was a little better. We killed the prophet but then crashed right at the end. Honestly it was kind of bullshit. We were really proud of that run too. We almost threw in the towel.
There was our final run though which was our success. We got it with almost a minute to spare. On top of that we got so damn efficient at taking out the enemies on the Gondola. Like, watch this kill:
So damn proud of that rocket shot, and got a good laugh out of the Elite getting launched away. A whole lot of good that jetpack did him i guess.
Anyways, the only level after this for Par Time is The Great Journey. And with that i’ll have gotten all the Par Times on Halo 2. That leaves Halo CE, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 for Par Times.
I don’t think I got the par times on Halo2. I know the levels by heart but there’s something stressful about it… maybe in coop yea
Yeah. I have to say, it’s probably one of the most difficult par times I’ve done. Though, Reach, 3, and 4 all support 4 players so I’m sure we have an advantage in that department
They didnt have time to playtest the game. So the AI can fire faster than a human. It was one of the things they sorted for Halo CE but never got to due to constraints. It is literally the hardest Halo game because of this. I think on legendary youre even the weakest character entity in the game.
LET’S GOO. Halo was always a game I wanted to play but since I moved to Linux I haven’t been able to boot up my master chief collection from steam
Weird. It’s always worked pretty flawlessly for me. The computer nerd in me kind of wants to try to debug it now lmao
