You should have more disdain for that low quality ass honey in a squeeze bottle. You should try local honey, it’ll change your life and then you’ll find yourself buying these dumbass barrels on a stick.
you can get local honey in squeeze bottles… literally the grocery stores in colorado sell only local honey (never seen honey from elsewhere here) and it’s all in squeeze bottles. Now it’s not like small-batch cottage foods, but it’s still local, created in the state of CO.
I get honey from my next door neighbor, and since we have catnip plants all his honey tastes like catnip, and it’s good, but the stuff from the grocery store tastes just as good, it’s just not a unique taste like catnip.
I like to get raw unfiltered honey and there’s no way this stuff I get can come out of a squeeze bottle. 100% needs to be spooned out because it’s almost a solid.
In the end I was making jokes about the main stream honey bear bottles ❤️
but I do use spoons and even butter knives for honey, and it works fine. well, even. and I’m somebody who likes efficiency and effectiveness in most things. I can’t see why I would want one of these, even after reading all the comments about the pros.
it just doesn’t seem any better for me. I don’t need to carry the honey more than a foot from the jar. I don’t need to be able to dose out the honey from the utensil, because I measure it out when taking it from the jar. I do need to be able to close the honey jar so it seals.
I have half a dozen local honey products in my cupboard rn fwiw

Lol I’ve never seen one of these things in person, I didn’t even know it’s called a dipper 😹
