current AI and its applications? It absolutely is a nothingburger. I don’t know if you’re old enough to remember the dotcom crash, but this is literally history repeating itself. An idea with the capacity to revolutionise the world being rushed through by dickheads who just want moneymoneymoney that applied it in the stupidest ways possible, churning vaporware and moon farts as concepts then when reality came knocking the whole thing fell over.
Much much later when it was allowed to develop properly we ended up with ecommerce and the modern internet. Well ok, pre-capitalism seizure.
