Innocent question, are gen X more right than left? My brothers is Gen X and its hard for me to think of the generation that was obsessed with MTV and watched Beavis ans But head and South Park be constantly attacked would veer right. I remember my brother playing “rape me” by Nirvanna and audibly the teachers freaking the fuck out. But my brother is conservative now so what do I know.

People in general tend to veer toward conservatism as they age, have kids, and accumulate wealth. Many of those Boomers who were hippies in the '60s became yuppies in the 80s and voted for Trump in recent years.

US election exit polls show that that they’re quite rightwing, yeah. Lots of people from any generation were never going to be left/center anyway, but the rightwing has a pretty significant working class voter base, and looking at groups like the Proud Boys they’re even able to style themselves as “rebellious”.

Gen X are the new boomers. The older they get the more the lead poisoning shows.

I have to applaud gen z for one thing. never has there been a generation more willing to whore themselves out for the world to see. I’m not complaining, lots of “daddy issues” because they have zero positive male influences in their lives, I wonder how that will look 20-30 years from now…
