I wonder about that. I’ve seen enough people in various horror communities thirsting after every eldritch creature you can imagine.
And understandably, things people do in fantasy & pretend on the internet are things they would not actually do in real life.
As someone who does some involved costumes, you’d be surprised what turns people on. And the more specific and strange, the more turned on they get.
