It also trains you to turn off the alarm without actually waking up, so you can imagine how fun it is to wake up late and realize your alarm did ring, but you turned it off and have zero recollection of doing it 👍
For me its the opposite and you are only waking up like a 5 seconds to hit snooze, you fall back asleep instantly. You might find yourself going to bed 30 minutes earlier or something but who cares? I dont fight sleep so that helps. I really enjoy my sleep. I also enjoy the morning time now because im super comfortable for like 30 minutes before i go to work as my mind slowly wakes up.
I’m happy this works for you but it would fuck my brain up royally. When the alarm goes off my brain tries to wake up and after a bit I will go back to sleep. A second alarm 10 minutes later will then fully wake me up but i have 3 back ups with completely different ring tones so my brain doesn’t get used to them and just block them out. I also choose pleasant yet attention grabbing tunes to avoid the blocking out problem. You’d be surprised at how effectively your brain can block a sound it doesn’t like. It’s why I’ve long avoided getting the alarms with the typical alarm sound.
This kind of sleep is not actually restorative and it ends up training your brain into making it even harder to wake up in the morning.
