Today I found two nazi nitrogen bottles at work. The swastikas were filled in post-war.

But why does it say 2 - 53? Is it the due date and the bottle was manufactured in 1943?
That is when the retest is due. You can see at the bottom the latest one is 08. So it’s been in circulation for 70 years. Black is nitrogen in international standards. So very believable.
