Did those owners also bring their secret potentially marriage destroying affairs to those official events?

I would not attend a concert if the tickets were given to me by my boss, who is openly going to cheat in front of me while I’m there. Is that wild to you?

Yeah, that’s wild to me. Their personal life has nothing to do with me. Especially since not accepting could have a negative career impact.

And it’s not like the invitation said, “come to the concert and watch me cheat.” How would the other employees know that would be what would happen?

No, of course it didn’t say that. But of course he doesn’t invite people over who he can’t trust with that kind of information. So his friends, closer allies or whatever you might call it. Imagine inviting someone over just to have them spill the beans to your family afterwards because you had the wrong impression of their loyalties and values. No way the people that were there weren’t in on it.

Dude was cheating in a highly public place full of cameras. I think your assessment of the people there being part of his exclusive inner circle might be flawed.
