      This is not a defense, but pointing out the issue in thinking that the it is some inherent issue in some tech, rather han who owns it and how it is used.

        The issue is also - to suit what purpose the tool was made. Tools didn’t emerge from nowhere.

            Saving what labor though? Labor that produces slop images? Labor that produces spaghetti code no one else can evaluate or debug? The social value of the labor saved by generative AI is negligible.

              Have read about AI helping to find slme vulnerabilities in Linux kernel etc. Tho, that may not be GenAi.
