    the problem with russians visiting some countries is that they tend to take advantage of hospitality. so even just visiting eventually turns into an ugly mess because they just can’t help themselves.

      Yeah, Ukrainians are in such wonder anytime people from a distant and foreign culture like Russia come visit, that they kowtow and shower the tourists in gifts.

      That’s not unique to Russians (but still not untrue about them). People on vacation abroad for some reason turn into the worst versions of themselves. Well, certain types of people anyway. You just don’t notice the rest.

      We have a stereotype that Finns are all noisy drunk assholes. Turns out that doesn’t apply in Finland. Brits on stag-dos getting drunk and looking for women to fuck is a common sight in Tallinn, or at least used to be before Brexit. I don’t think I need to share the stereotypes people around the world have of American tourists either?
