You do know, that two things can be bad at the same time? The fact that someone criticizes something they experienced, does not necessarily indicate support of another system. I’ve committed my life to anti-capitalist struggle. Only as opposed to you there’s no misinformed nationalist nostalgia in my family.
Also find me any people over 40 who are not nostalgic about the times of their youth. Human minds have this key mechanism of mostly pushing out bad experiences, so we can go on living. When that stops working one ends up with a heavy depression.
