minus-squaredaannii@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 day agoIt does seem less though. Like for instance I recently posted a project im working on. Electronic and program project board. (Raspberry pi project). And I really am a novice, trying to figure things out. AND. I posted a video explaining the project with drawings and such. So it was obvious I’m a woman. And guess what? I actually got a few upvotes and a few helpful comments. No one called me a dumb bitch. No one told me to fuck off. My post didn’t get downvoted into oblivion because I’m a newb. Or God forbid, a woman doing computer things. Which is forbidden because misogyny. It was quite refreshing and unexpected.
