This is nothing new. Liberals have always done this throughout history. They put all the blame on individuals to cover up the root cause of these constantly reoccuring wars and genocides.

I’m just going to take a wild guess and assume we have similar numbers of people who do not support the existence of Israel and people who do not support the existence of Palestine. The hardliners of both would happily exterminate the other side. It’s being that way for longer than the state of Israel has existed. For now, Israel has the whip hand. But that won’t last forever. And I don’t expect any better behavior from the other side when it changes. It’s an ongoing tragedy that there is no simple fix for.
Agreed, getting involved and taking sides in religious wars is crazy. They’ve been going at it for thousands of years. We didn’t create the problem and we can’t solve it for them.

Nope. Israel is a genocidal settler-colony primarily consisting of Europeans killing Palestinians for land. This is not complicated. We can explore the complexities and nuances of this subject, but the solution is simple: dissolution of Israel, and recognition of Palestine.

The reason Israelis don’t support the existence of Palestine is because they are actively colonizing it through genocidal settler-colonialism. The reason Palestinians do not support the existence of Israel is because Israel is a genocidal settler-colonial project erasing them from existence. These are not equal in any capacity, the simple fix is a dissolution of the genocidal apartheid state and the recognition of Palestine as a state.
