Modded 3DS is great. Super easy to do and you can use the hShop to download pretty much every game ever released plus their updates and DLC.

It’s just a piece of software that will download and install any game you want.
It’s like, a free/pirate eShop but also with cartridge games.

It shouldn’t be allowed to be pirated, it should just become open source/society’s property by default in that case. You don’t want to sell your digital only item or maintain it’s platform anymore? Fine, now everyone can have it.
