as someone considering going down this path, can you give some things to look up or watch out for?

I have these connectors plus the one on the GPU.

The white one is on the riser and the smaller black one is one the motherboard

So I just need to connect the white one to the GPU?

Yes, the riser has a white 8 pin connector. So, if I connect that to the smaller 8pin on the motherboard it’ll will be good?
