Some smells are indicators of future illness. If you aren’t cleaning your self in some way you will get sick. Even animals clean themselves. You don’t need a lot of water. Sponge baths, natural soaps, smoke baths. All sorts of stuff.
Don’t confuse “natural” for good. If you are dirty you smell bad. Being sweaty and mildewy is literally just bad for you. Even cats know to wash themselves lol
Being sweaty daily is normal and fine but like constantly not cleaning is just bad for you lol
Bad smells can indicate unclean conditions. BO is an indicator of that. It’s an evolved feature. Natural odors are one thing but being unclean is another
Using cologne can actually increase the smell. Part of how cologne works is it uses a compound which easily evaporates and carries a smell sensitive molecule with it. If it also picks up your BO shit gets 100 times worse. It doesn’t cover up anything it just amplifies it.
I use light mode at work because dark mode makes me sleepy :(

I thought my work was bad… I’d raise hell if I found that
Sad part is this such and old photo. But it’s still a huge problem

This already a thing, there’s a US lab doing this

When you are in your death bed you’ll ask yourself what you could have done for a few more good years

On Nixos
No nixpkg Make flake

They are using “sideloading” to confuse the masses and give it a negative connotation

We need to stop calling it side loading. Say it what is is android wants to stop people from installing apps
I’m from WV, many of us (including myself) care deeply about the environment. That being said, water front property in the state I love would be AMAZING wv with beaches sounds like a dream. Can imagine the valleys and hills would make a bunch of cool islands. Kind of like the Les cheneaux islands up noth. Would be sick as shit for sailing.
Alas I know this is a pipe dream and any environmental effects that drove the water that high would basically turn the rest of the planet into a desert hellscape.
It helps the problem by tagging the state of all your random dot files to the same source set. Any that config changes very rarely anyway. Unless you are using super bleeding edge software. Sure you have to change things still but atleast you have a well track set of what you’ve changed how you’ve changed it and what versions it’s all set to. Non-declarative systems mean you still have to do all the updating but now it’s all a much of untracked manual work unless you’re real good at documentation. Hope that helps!
“Not interested in discussion” posts opinion on public form. Wut.
In nix they don’t, since they lock in files based on the commit hash. You don’t have to update unless you want to and you can always roll back to the previous stable state.
Personally I’ve found the transition to be much more than marginal. Systems are defined not by the state of the machine itself but by the config describing it which is much more transparent and manageable. Non-declarative systems are great if you’re just running small services, are changing and experimenting a lot. Or just don’t can’t if your system goes down or bloats over the year. Declarative systems save you whole lot of management headaches especially if you are working with others, or aren’t constantly reviewing your old work.
I wish it want thrown around like it was AGI.
AI for ML systems has always kinda been a misleading term after it was co-oped by science fiction
