The term “anti-bacterial” is a marketing term. It doesn’t indicate anything about the specific ingredients in a product. For example, triclosan and benzalkonium chloride are banned in hand soaps in the EU but in wide use in the US. Products in both regions can be marketed as “anti-bacterial” but contain completely different ingredients. You’re willfully ignoring what I first said while falling head over heels for product marketing and implying I’m the one who’s not smart lmao

  • Was Desert Storm World War 3? Or the Vietnam War? Or the Korean War? Or Russia’s invasion of Ukraine? Or the US’s invasion of Afghanistan? Or the US’s second invasion of Iraq? People constantly claiming “here comes World War 3!” makes it sound like you’re excited for that, which is depressing. The reality is it’s not World War 3, and world geopolitics do not portend another war on the horizon of the same magnitude as World War 2.

  • Musk has staked Tesla’s future on self-driving vehicles he has promised for a decade but hasn’t delivered, making Austin’s robotaxi launch closely watched as a potential milestone. Some analysts and investors attribute the majority of Tesla’s stock market value to hopes for robotaxis and humanoid robots it has yet to deliver.

We’ve had Waymo and Zoox operating in town for years. Waymo started road testing here almost 10 years ago now. Tesla is so far behind on this it’s not even funny. I expect their cars to be subject to vandalism, also.

Edit to add: All they’re saying they don’t want released are deployment patterns, like how many cars, where, and when. Whatever, that info is basically useless anyway. That they’re fighting so hard to conceal useless info demonstrates they already lack confidence in their service

The line of arthropods that broke off to become Insecta did so in the Devonian Period, roughly 400 million years ago. Centipedes evolved in the fucking Silurian. Comparing these two groups is kinda like comparing raccoons, possums, and platypuses to fish.
