I agree many meetings should be emails. But when meetings happen, generally someone takes minutes and notes down actions so, that covers that base I suppose. Secondly, if I’m your employer, or your client, and I call you with a request, or a job, then it’s probably in your best interest to get it done. Sure, a follow up email is sometimes warranted, but not always. People who refuse to use the phone to communicate verbally are only disadvantaging themselves.

For me the most annoying part of voicemail is navigating through the menu. But I’m also not scared of taking to people on the phone so perhaps my opinion doesn’t count here.

Freetube does need an app. I use a fork of NewPipe called PipeBender on Android and it works most of the time but not all the time. Freetube has never failed me though.

I dare say that that part of the reason behind this decision is that they are also required to meet safety standards.

I prefer to use NextDNS on my router and add block lists there instead. Also works while on cell reception.

I genuinely feel that Google’s search results have gotten really bad, over the last years especially. I find DDG results to be much better generally. If Mullvad Leta also proxied DDG for another layer of privacy then I’d use it, but not even it’s only search engines are Google and Brave.
