On repeat it was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Leftists decided punishing Democrats was more important than the rights of marginalized people living in the US, so now we have Trump. Thanks leftists. You’re the reason we will have concentration camps again.
On repeat it was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Oxidation is how red blood cells collect oxygen to pass to the rest of the body. In fact it is iron in hemoglobin that “rusts” to collect the oxygen. You would die if your blood didn’t “rust”.
Antioxidants have nothing to do with this.
I was today years old when I realized this thing has a name and it is called “Hellmo”.
I edited my post to include metric units for those numbers.
And sure, it’s fine to say that is short from your own personal perspective but yes statistically the average height was less back then. Even so the average height today is only about 10 cm more.
You may just be taller than average if you are that incredulous about his height. I don’t consider 5’5" (1.68 m) to be that far off from the average height of men in most countries today. If he were under say 5’ (1.52 m) I would say that is significantly shorter.
1.68m is 5’5" which is yeah short but not too far from the (self-reported) average male height in France today which is 5’9" (1.75m) (Bayesian estimates actually say 5’7" (1.70m)). During Bonaparte’s time average male height in France was 5’4" (1.62m) so he was actually taller than average by a tiny bit.
Average height has increased over time.
I built a Pwnagotchi but I haven’t cracked any of it’s handshakes yet.
Proof to support your claim? This seems like an outright lie to me.
Don’t get me wrong. The bedonked trucks rolling coal and driving like assholes should be penalized and car manufacturers should be limited in how big they keep making these things. But you’re not going to get rid of trucks. Especially not in America. Good luck with the crusade though.
My friend was killed by a bus while riding her bike. Should we ban public transit?
But they can’t do it better than trucks can. Can a motorcycle tow a 27’ travel trailer filled with all the things you need to live for an extended amount of time?
Vans and minivans do everything trucks and SUVs do, and they do it better.
Except tow things.
This sounds like a fun activity. Mad libs and then have AI generate an image based on the result.
Depends on how you draw it.
Sounds like they’re threatening to steal your dog or something.
My local FreeGeek was selling $5 e-readers in an e-reader bin this weekend.
You claim that each group fighting for their own unique needs and rights is some how splintering our unity. You do know intersectionality is a thing, right? Just because I’m for gay rights doesn’t mean I’m against black rights. Each group has their own unique needs and there is some interplay between them but there is absolutely no shame or downside to communicating those unique needs.
What you claim sounds very similar to an argument I often hear from right-wingers. “Gays and Lesbians already have equal rights. They have the right to marry someone of the opposite sex just like everyone else.”
There is a difference between equality and equity.
You claim that is the fault of minorities demanding equal rights that inequality in wealth has risen rather than put the blame squarely where it’s deserved: the right wing, and people who couldn’t be bothered to vote against the right wing (or worse, the people discouraging others from voting for the only opposition party to the right wing).
You claim that “leftists” are that different from tankies but judging by your own rhetoric which is incredibly hostile to minorities, I’d say they are quite the same.
I think the main thing that is unnecessarily gendered is they are trying to push the “blue is the only manly color” thing in this image.
It’s actually the opposite. When the oxygen binds to the iron it changes from Fe+2 to Fe+3 so the binding of oxygen to the iron in hemoglobin is an oxidation process. At that point it can’t take more oxygen until it releases it in a reduction reaction.
The term “oxidation” is originally derived from reactions where a substance combines with oxygen but has since been generalized to any reaction where an electron is given up. So “oxidation” is the broader term and “oxygenation” is the specific oxidation reaction that results in binding oxygen.
