Surely they wanted to name it Microsoft 365 Copilot Slop, but the CEO was against that.

Well, I’ll just start calling his company Microslop… Fuck you Nadella
pretty sure they walked in dirt, and not concrete roads.
For walking/running you need proper shoes.
There’s a hole in the bucket, dear henry, dear henry.

aftermath.site is a great news source.

I encourage UK’s government to sit on it and rotate. And Keir Starmer can go do one with rusty barbed wire.
You don’t think games optimized for a Steam Machine isn’t going to be a selling point?
And just because you haven’t manually used a Steamdeck preset, I’m willing to bet that the game did it for you.
It has been a bit windy…
Is that that floating plastic island?
Unlike your itx system, the steammachine is going to be reference hardware, much like how games got a Steamdeck profile, there will be games with a Steammachine profile.
And you think direct linking is without tracking?
By clicking that link, I’m giving Reddit access to my ip address, (hopefully rough) geo location, my browser fingerprint, among other details that they may glean from cookies and if I had stupidly still been logged in to Reddit, they can attach that session to my Reddit account.
The word “zo” has a lot of different meanings. In this case it’s said at the end of a (difficult or long) task as filler word.
Like “zo, dat is klaar” (that’s (finally) done now), or “zo en dan nu tv kijken” (and now (finally) time to watch tv)
It doesn’t mean “so” in that case. It’s more similar to “hè hè” in that case. An expression of weariness and/or tiredness. And that’s why I translated it to “finally”. “Now this task is finished, I can finally relax with a beer”.
I hope this clears things up for you?
That’s the literal translation, yes.
Are you serious?! The same way that Facebook tracks you when you view content from their CDN.
A lot of us are trying to get away from Reddit, including its tracking.
Dutch beer brand Amstel had a long running commercial campaign that featured 3 friends enjoying their beer.
After that campaign ended, competitor Bavaria hired two of three actors and made a commercial with them enjoying a nice holiday and having them say Bavaria’s tag line “Zo, nu eerst een Bavaria” (And now finally a Bavaria).
I’ve been here a while, I prefer this over reddit.
Sure, niche content is missing, but that’s because it’s niche, and comes with time and a larger group of people on here. Reddit didn’t start out with the niche content either.
I haven’t noticed the toxicity myself, I’m sure it’s there, but I’m likely privileged not to have noticed it. Or perhaps I’m one of the toxic users, because I’m too leftist for some (though I’m no tankie)
