Typographers saw the same thing with personal computing in the latter half of the 90s. Yeah I recognize it’s a decision from the admins here, but it’s one I approve of heavily for reasons said when I posted this to the fediverse channel. The motivation behind posting is less tainted this way.
Not true, plenty of AI companies are in the green like Midjourney. Not everyone is hermorhagging money like OpenAi to curb out competition.
