Do I need a foldable phone? No. Do I like the idea of owning a phone that is actually small enough to be used with one hand and can fit anywhere? Yes. Besides, closing it to end a call is very cool.
Why not? It’s not like Huawei can just use Android so I doubt they’ll pull the plug on this system anytime soon.
It’s about time we got a major third player in the mobile OS space. Godspeed to Huawei, may they succeed where Microsoft failed.
The fact that there aren’t many alternatives likely means that making a Sims-like game isn’t as simple as it looks. That being said, there are a bunch of life sims under developement right now (probably because EA is doing a terrible job) such as Paralives, Inzoi and Alterlife.
It becomes even more impressive when you remember how many amazing games came out in 2023. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Pikmin 4, Street Fighter 6, Alan Wake 2, The Talos Principle 2, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, Final Fantasy XVI, Hi-Fi Rush, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Lies of P, Pizza Tower, most of these would win GOTY if they had come out this year instead.
Maybe they just want to feel something. Anger, I assume.
Yeah, I doubt most people will go this route. VPNs cost money, Twitter alternatives are free.
Good. Let them cook.
ConcernedApe comes to mind. I think he has actually said that a big reason why he made his game is so people would listen to his music.
Imagine becoming a mass murderer for a woman you are into only for her to end up dating Deadpool instead
It’s a shame that’s not the default because while do find EVs interesting there’s no way I’m buying a car that may stop working after a failed software update. Did early EV manufacturers feel the need to put as many bleeding edge features as possible in their vehicles to make them more alluring? Cause I can’t imagine another reason to turn a car into a driveable smartphone.
It’s in the fracking ship!!
Interesting. I never finished The Witness but I got some solid 10h of entertainment out of it before I stopped having fun. I’d say it is a brilliantly well designed game that’s well worth the price if you are into puzzles.
There’s also AlterLife.
Why, just because I decided to leave my honest opinion instead of trashing Nintendo like every other comment here? I can see where people are coming from with their complaints but to say Nintendo’s games have been disappointing is absurd. Yes, there are other factors contributing to these sales numbers, and none of them would matter at all if the Switch didn’t also have great games on it.
I couldn’t disagree more. Other than Pokémon their first-party releases have been pretty much flawless this generation, it’s arguably the strongest lineup of games any Nintendo console has ever seen. There’s a reason the Switch is currently in route to become the best selling console of all time. That’s not an excuse to their legal team shenanigans, of course, but credit where credit is due.
Maybe if he was in charge instead of Cyrodiil, Skyrim and (I assume) Hammerfell we could have gotten games set in the weirdest provinces like Black Marsh, Elsweyr or perhaps even Akavir.
Can current Windows even work with 2GB of RAM?
My friend down the street had an LX back in '83. It was an amazing device but sadly way too ahead of its time.
