Buy a Raspberry PI, install PiHole or AdGuard, change router DNS, and you are good to go. Yes, not perfect, but doesn’t rely on a browser extension that can go extinct next time the browser decides it is time for a change.

And it finally, after all those years, took the toll. Ubisoft crashed hard and hopefully they burn and fizzle out like a wet fart they are, all of the people starting with lower management and up gets yeeted, and maybe the next owner in line will have more brains and listen to the community.
Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t bought or played their games for the past 10 years, with exception of the first The Division, but I’ve been following their death spiral for the last few years and I am glad it finally showed on a company. But we need more examples.
While I think it is a great spin on the genre of collecting monsters to enslave them so they craft bullets for you, I agree with you on Nintendo.
At least that lesson cost mere £50 and not thousands of pounds if he won and wanted to chase that dopamine hit of winning.
Just uninstall the kernel module that takes care of the GPU working properly, should solve the conflicts. You probably won’t see the screen, so I advise to do a disk clone to a different PC and mirror your actions.
Worst thing is, with any systemic rule change, the change js not instant. Allowing something like that would wither cause a spike up in crimes, or we’d feel it down the line. On the other hand, banning them doesn’t make sense, either.
Except when he is at the end of the line, and hopefully there is some humanity left in one of the people who hold the keys. Unless all the keys are held by Putler, then nuclear was is inevitable unless someone gets him before the “end of the line” moment comes.
Their brain is free real estate. Living there is rent free!

Oh, completely forgot about my Steam Deck, it is just that seamless.
I also hate the other side of the coin that is against both Steam and EGS. Citing Steam doesn’t “deserve your loyalty”. Why not? I can’t really pinpoint any particular fuckup in the 15 years I’ve been using it. Sure, some delays in games, updates, and other minor shit - but imagine if like game ratings broke, I am sure they’d get fixed in an hour.
Steam absolutely deserves our loyalty.
Imagine the screams, just like grass.
I kind of cracked up at “Steam does very little”.
Hell, Epic does not have any social features, didn’t have cart, refund process through support only, very basic search, I am not sure about cloud saves and if they don’t break completely when you play offline (is there even offline mode?).
Steam, on the other hand, is constantly adding and improving features - like the new beta family sharing which is finally what an easy way to share with my GF and sister.
The only things that Epic has are free games, exclusivity, and lower fees - and that’s about it. All three, as you can see, are not really hard to implement for the developer team, but easy to throw large sums of money at for a quick boost so they can boast numbers.
Fuck Epic, seriously. Money can solve lots of stuff, but not by throwing it at the wall. Meaningless.
I’d rather not have a Tesla even if it meant I dont have an EV ever. Crappy overpriced cars.
I was using Grok before it was cool: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-grok.html
I hate how good the software is, truly undeserving to be under such a company.
I also hate the new MacBooks are ARM based. Lots of x86 stuff that is battletested is suddenly broken. Can’t count the number of Docker containers broken on Mac while it works perfectly on your regular non-ARM based Linux.
How about you send it to me instead and I’ll pay you the 4k
If it was a carburetor (which EVs do not have), I’d be okay with a DRM. But boards? Is there an organized crime group that steals EV boards? Next time it will be funking wipers with DRM.
Software control should be kept for luxury aspects of the vehicle. Nothing critical.
Tesla would disagree, lol. But then again, for the price, the whole car is a luxury.
Go to hell Elon
The one thing Apple did right. AirDrop is nice, and I wish PairDrop worked for Bluetooth aswell.
I mean, we already have Nearby Share/Quickshare on Samsung, but it is still kind of finnicky.
It is a legal label, if it was safe it would be “safe full self driving”.
