4·1 month agoThis is a great point, currently I have tens of thousands of mp3’s that I wish I could somehow, impossibly upscale to a better codec, but those rare tracks I have in the low VBR mp3 range will never be revived.
Well that’s one thing Apple did right, aside from a terrible algorithm. Spotify will be jacking up the prices in 3,2,1…
I miss the days when all the cool websites used Flash. I think Macromedia killed it for some reason. Probably because it had security flaws, back then it was pretty bandwidth-intensive too, but it made for some dynamic web designs.

Good suggestions but most of the time I can’t get any of these apps to work, some commenters here say differently but for me, due to YouTube’s policy of “sign in to prove you’re not a bot”, I end up using a tor browser with cookies denied and sadly all the bullshit yt advertising of course.

1·1 year agoYep, riding in my moms 76 Honda civic, my mom would tell me (and my sister) to shut up when complaining about the smoke. Also the lit embers that would enevitably fling back into the back seat still hold some early memories.
