Internet service is such bullshit now when it could just be a utility bill, and we can’t even get at that cause utilities are fucked private corpos too trying to ratfuck the system so they can continue to charge plebs for energy we have figured out how to capture for free so now we all have to die so some silver spooned diaper can continue to get his.

None of this would be a problem if the government didn’t sell us out for what we already paid for and allowed these vultures into the system. It should have be national from the start. It costs them about nothing to have data run through those lines. All those caps exist purely to garner profit.

This is a special case cause no one listens to me and I document that not listening. But the fuel island terminal needs a wired connection, wireless solutions do not play well. So my company ignores me and buys wireless connectors. They go down. Instead of trenching and running a cable like I tell them, they’ve bought hundreds of feet of Ethernet and every time a truck runs over the Ethernet cable to the fuel island I run out there and make a new one to run. It happens once a week.

I work IT in a construction yard and dont like the oil and slurry shit getting on my thighs when I have to fix the internet in the wash bay. Weekends are fair game but I’m a twink not a hunk so the pull off is different.

I mean is it predatory? And following dark patterns? Or is there a cosmetic shop and thats about it? I dont mind mtx in indie games like that, but if they’re following dark patterns like a mobile game where it tries to create frustration so you pay then I have a problem. Developers gotta eat, and indies are extra hungry.
