Having given this a lot of thought, regulation is important and devices going out of support should open up their source, but ISPs are the chokepoint and should be both supported and motivated to enforce security measures to protect the rest of the internet from the botnets that are being operated from their networks. No salt needed for me. Peverse incentives are the norm in nearly every industry.
Its income tax, right? They get money from ownership, dividenda from investments and stuff like that, not paychecks, not income. None of that is taxed at a reasonable rate, so they don’t get taxed on that.

I recently started out in Codeburg. It’s a little bit user hostile; there were things I knew I should be able to do, but finding them was too unclear. It took a little bit longer to figure out, but it’s worth it to not use a MS product
