You literally cannot mess with your emissions system legally… nor can you disable or modify certain safety systems (seat belts, etc). Software that goes into vehicles requires validation testing. You might be fine doing 1 off things, but there will never be a “flash able” car on the market that let’s you bring your own software, and honestly I’m good with that. I don’t need your massive multiple ton machine bluescreening down the highway or locking up the breaks randomly because you installed the wrong module.

I later did ask it to just be helpful, specifically requesting it give me some possible words that fit for the 5 letter possibility for #1. It repeated “floor it” lol.

While I almost completely agree with you, never underestimate the power of using the right tool for the right job. HDMI is actually far more resilient to signal corruption in my experience than display port since it implements TMDS and the cables are more commonly well shielded since they expect them to be used in device dense environments, which isn’t really applicable to anyone familiar with technology (don’t group up your cables next to something with significant RF noise/leaks, duh.) but does matter for the end user use case these see. The fees hdmi charge are a scam though fr and we could ask better from the industry.

Idk numpy go brrrrrrrrrr. I think it’s more just the right tool for the right job. Most languages have areas they excel at, and areas where they’re weaker, siloing yourself into one and thinking it’s faster for every implementation seems short sighted.

From what I can tell this isn’t going to function, mainly just due to the additional proprietary connectors on that Dell card. I imagine there’s some sort of firmware integration as well though since it’s got a data line coming off it too. Quick side question, is there any reason you’re not just picking up some N95 boxes off Amazon? They’re so cheap you’d pay for them in power savings vs this box alone and you could essentially treat it as a Raid 1 of the entire system with a handful of backup scripts.

I get around 980 down 450-550 up on a Wifi 6e 160mhz 6ghz link, if I drop to my 5ghz network with 160mhz I run around 770 down and 375 up.

Any poor quality connector can affect a sector scan and drive performance. Doesn’t matter if it’s connected to a corroded usb port or a bent internal sata, at the end of the day if you’re getting disk errors it’s best to measure using two methodologies/data pathways.
