I had Forspoken on my wishlist for quite a while, as I wanted to form my own opinion on it. Then I tried the demo they released and removed the game shortly after. The combat and travel was so boring, clunky and badly over the top (like a Saiya-jin powering up for 30 minutes to release a wet fart), which just piled on top of the rest of its “mediocrity”, which I feel is still generous. The story and characters were just not interesting, nothing really hooked me, which is odd since the trailer and idea of it sounded like it would be completely up my ally. That being said, the amount of woke ragebait posts I’ve seen were definitely unwarranted and clearly caused by the main protagonist.

Layering is usually not advised as it can cause issues. You’re usually supposed to use something like DistroBox but that often does not actually work or is very convoluted. Definitely not something for newbies, which is kinda at odds with the safety of an immutable system.

Try to install Mullvad VPN. Don’t use the .rpm because if you happen to be able to install that it bricks your system. In my case that didn’t even work, luckily, but the app just won’t seem to work within a suggested DistroBox setting either. Can’t get ROCm to properly work either, which is already a pain in the ass on a regular distro.

No. I think that needed climate action would cost everyone dearly either way. If you think it doesn’t then you are nothing but naive.

My groceries are almost twice as expensive as just a few years ago. So “5%” is a very optimistic outlook. And while you may think that, 95% of the population won’t. You can see that already in our current state that absolutely no one gives a shit about the climate. Not enough to take any sort of hit to their own comfort at least.

I’m not using Fedora, I’m using Bazzite, which is immutable based on SilverBlue. I use an Arch distrobox for this since I can’t really install anything directly into the system. The script is what I tried originally in a Fedora distrobox which did not work at all.

I didn’t do anything past using yay to install the AUR koboldcpp-hipblas package, and customtkinter, since the UI wouldn’t work otherwise. The koboldcpp-rocm page very specifically does not mention any other steps in the Arch section and the AUR page only mentions the UI issue.

Well, anything remotely raunchy gets a “I cannot participate in explicit content” default reply.

I am using the rocm install of koboldcpp but as said, the ROCm option errors out with a CUDA error for some reason.
