It wasn’t actually Hemingway. Versions of the story can be found from 1906 when Hemingway was 7, and there is apparently no mention of a connection between him and the story before the 1990s.

What the heck is the origin of this meme template? And am I the only one who thought this was Roger Stone?
Because the teacher is wrong and it’s an idiotic question.
The question asks the child to explain how Marty ate more pizza than Luis. “He didn’t” is not an appropriate answer to that question.
We know that Marty and Louis didn’t eat from the same pizza, because Marty ate 4/6 of a pizza and Luis ate 5/6 of a pizza. We also know that Marty did eat more, because it’s right there in the question.
The only logical answer is that Marty’s pizza is bigger, and so 4/6 of his pizza amounts to more pizza than 5/6 of Luis’s smaller pizza.
The question should have been “Marty ate 4/6 of a pizza and Luis ate 5/6 of a pizza. Explain who ate more pizza.”
That looks like my writing now, and I’m in my 30s.

Man, I might have to steal that for future platforms.
I thought I was losing my mind reading your comments.
I don’t think you meant it that way but it looks funny that you gave the average mid-westerner comment while also mentioning LA in response to San Jose.
Just for any actual avg midwesterners, San Jose is the same distance from LA as Chicago is from Cleveland. Or Indianapolis is from Pittsburg.
Carwashes are a decent choice of laundering business, but are also a business with remarkably low overhead. They are a popular choice of business for someone who wants to buy land and sit on it in a place they believe will become developed so they can sell it later. There is a large initial outlay for building the structure, but the actual machines and installation can cost less than buying a car. Upkeep is surprisingly simple and costs less than you probably think. The soaps and chemicals are dirt cheap and sold in 30-55gal quantities that last a month or more depending on traffic. The only real overhead if you aren’t getting customers is your mortgage and payroll, and you’d be paying a mortgage even if you just bought the land and did nothing with it. Not to mention touchless carwashes only require staff when there is a problem and any touch carwash can be run by a single person.
A more succinct explanation is that they are just an asshole.
First the trans people come for my energy, then they come for my trains? When will the madness end? Won’t someone think of the children!

Is it the 50 year old teacher/coach/priest touching 15 year old boys, or is it the 15 year old boy inside the 50 year old just exploring his sexuality?
I imagined you using voice to text and you have an accent like Cheech Marin.
The original AC games were really great for their time, and to be honest I enjoyed the ones that came after the trilogy despite feeling like the same game with a new coat of paint over and over.
But they really knocked it out of the park when they overhauled all the controls and mechanics with Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Yes, there are issues with them like with every open world game, but it is really worth checking out. Valhalla is obviously beautiful and very refined but I favor Odyssey for the sheer fun factor.
Agreed on these new ones, though.

What’s going on with your capitalization? I spent way too much time looking for hidden messages and came away with nothing except the - entirely unrelated - hypothesis that you are German.
