    You raise a good point. My thermostat does not support decimal units. So if I turn on the heater to 24C on a cold winter, the temperature range of my heater actually works likes: turn on at 22C, turn off at 26C. Translated, that’s a swing from 72F to 79F. Really annoying.

    Obviously they could just make the heater not shit, but I feel like it’s harder to fuck up Fahrenheit whole numbers.
