Not really. Palworld isn’t infringing any copyright. Nintendo was not pursuing copyright infringement, but patent infringement for gameplay mechanics.

The concept of copyright isn’t bullshit but here is outright legal abuse. Palworld does not infringe on anyone’s copyright. It’s an original work inspired by another. Imagine if nobody was allowed to make first person shooters because they would be infringin on Doom.

It kinda is tho. Culture always worked by inspiring and copying others. Also were talking about intellectual property here that can be multiplied by a simple copy paste. The cost is marginal.

I think someone who e.g. invents a cure for cancer should be rewarded by society, but it’s immoral for them to keep it secret and privatly profit off of that

Also Idgaf if someone who creates a fantasy world has to deal with others that like to add to it. Fanfics can be really good. It may be annoying to the OP but who are they to ruin the fun for others

I would download a car if I could

It’s capitalism, and concept of profit is bullshit. Copyrights and patents are patches to kind of make it work, which don’t work really.
