Well, my headphone app (anker soundcore) got ai and started spamming shit, am considering if the benefits of having it installed is worth it.

Context: am the kind of person who complains and then acts (eg left reddit at the api disaster early).

Gadgetbridge actually does some stuff for at least some of the Anker Soundcore headphones. Maybe it covers your use case?

Oh nice, thank you. And my model (4 anc) is highly supported. I guess I’ll switch. There we go 🤷❤️

What do you mean spamming shit? Ads?

And, what are the benefits? I’ve actually not heard of AI in headphones (although I’m not surprised)

Yes, some ads and some absolutely unmasked notifications about random benefits or something. Really annoying if you’re a person having configured your whole mobile on hard functionality (removing, disabling, paying so it’s focused).

Well the benefit is the app notification showing battery status of both plugs as well as the case and switching between profiles (mostly anc on/off). So it would do without but can be helpful.
