I could work faster and get my shit done but why would I want to have my bosses give me more shit to do.

I already have two people’s work to do by myself, I’m not going to move faster than a shuffle for what they pay me.

I generally dislike working at a shuffle. My work day is over much faster if I’m in a bit of a rush throughout. I don’t see it as me getting paid for a certain amount of work. I see it as me selling my time. Between 08:00 and 16:00, what I do during that time is up to my boss. I don’t own that time, in exchange I get my pay.

I live in a country with actual workers rights though. Might make a difference.

I move fast, it is more of a methodical shuffle. I take my time to make sure I check take the right product since there are lots of letters and numbers similar in the products. I shuffle through the multipage orders because they don’t sort orders by location so I have to go back and forth on the pages instead of going back and forth in the warehouse.
