I do both. i buy cds at shows when i can. I also scour used and new music stores for stuff. Then for albums i really love, i get them on vinyl. I get most of my music from bandcamp though and if an artist only has stuff available on streaming or its from a mega producer, i will rip it off youtube
Now most just downlode off youtube, lol. I like collecting CDs but many artists don’t do them anymore.
