    I took this past week off to get my house renovated and get prepared for a move. Even with that kind of “vacation” I am not eager for tomorrow to come.

    I had 2 months of paternity leave and took all of 2 hours back for me to pick right up where I left of with hating my job.

      If you won the lottery or worked ten times harder. Scratch that. Even working ten times harder still won’t give you that life. And you would blow the lottery winnings ~1 year.

        Maybe that’s the real trap.

        You get a glimpse of a life that most people will never reach. Then you go back to pretending the system is fine.

    I visited a country with functioning infrastructure and beautiful scenery for a week and returned to a new assignment at work which was absolutely dreadful and this hits home.
