If you think that’s a lot of tabs, my wife’s Firefox mobile just gave up and shows the Infinity symbol.

I keep meaning to see if there’s something that I can tinker with to make it still give me a number even when it’s high. I think it switches to the ∞ at 100 tabs?

Recently, when I bulk exported my tabs so I could close them all, I had over 9000. Firefox obviously doesn’t keep all of those active and loaded at the same time, but I was finding that I was experiencing a lot of lag and bugged behaviour in the browser, which cleared up when I closed them all. It’d be easier to remember to routinely clear stuff out if I could have the number of tabs being visible for longer.

    Democratic socialist

Isn’t that what Bernie self labels as? Same with Madhani. Are they basically stating you can’t even talk about a chunk of their own party?

Bernie is technically not a Dem, he’s an independent, but he caucuses with the Dems. Mamdani and AOC and a few others in the actual party do consider themselves a DemSoc though, and more and more Democrats are aligning with that ideology. So yea, they do seem to be excluding a large and growing part of the party, which is honestly not surprising since they have been doing so for years, ever since Bernie was screwed over in 2016.

This mentality is part of why Bernie lost the presidential election. There is a significant portion of the Democratic Party who don’t see people like Bernie as legitimate members of the party and that matters for some reason.

Well I mean, they have a bit of a point considering he’s not a member of the Democratic Party.

The monsters, they want discussions in their subreddit to be about a specific, clearly delineated thing.

What is the ideology of Democrats exactly, such that democratic socialism is excluded? “Democrat” is not really a specific and clearly delineated set of beliefs, it’s a party, and one that likes to claim it’s “big tent”, to boot. Not very big tent to exclude a whole group that supports a lot of the same things.
