    Eeeeh, it was ok. I mean they built up the Red John thing so much, then built this whole secret society thing around it, only to almost just completely disregard it again once the FBI arc started. Which was also very shoehorned in. The first few seasons were fine to watch though.

      Agreed. The red John storyline was compelling but the conclusion of it was very underwhelming. Thoroughly enjoyed the show regardless.

      Different enough

      Psych is more comedy focused

      Mentalist is more about Simon Baker being charming and clever

      I liked both. Psych def has a better overall cast

    I only watched it here and there but started season 1 with the wife as our current show. I always enjoyed it. She is starting to.
