      Context holds that you use a dash to mean “through” and a slash to mean “or” here.

          Also, I hate b/w for between. It doesn’t make sense. It’s not bet ween. It’s be tween.

            It’s a semi arbitrary symbol for speeding up handwriting. It’s just supposed to be recognizable, connecting the two most important letters. Which it does well.

              Why is the w more important than the t, with the T representing the second syllable

                It just makes more sense to me. The w sound is longer and more important imo but I wouldn’t be mad if you did shorthand a different way.
